2nd International Symposium on Current Progress in Functional Materials
(2nd ISCPFM 2017)
Bali, November 8-9, 2017
“Functional materials for energy and environment applications“
Functional materials have attracted much attention from researchers around the world in connection with the demands of obtaining materials that can improve the capabilities of various advanced technologies. The main areas to be encouraged in this symposium are the research in functional materials that can meet the challenge and demand in energy, environment and health application. The research on these areas have been conducted by many institutions in this country and other countries as well. Therefore, the scientific community in functional materials needs to update itself with the latest developments by way of interaction and sharing of knowledge among scientists, academics, students and researchers working in these research areas.
The ISCPFM 2017 intends for bringing together the scientific and technical communities to share their knowledge-base on recent trends in processing, characterization and application of functional materials. Theoretical and computational modelling research to explain the characteristic and experimental results of functional materials are also very welcome. Plenary and class-room sessions will stimulate interaction between scientists. Keynote and invited speakers who are experts in their respective fields would share their experience and knowledge with young researchers and research scholars, which in turn would promote research in this areas. Information exchange and research collaboration will be promoted through stimulating results and engaging discussion in plenary and oral presentations, in mixer events of symposium participants, and other flexible interactions. Young scientists are especially encouraged to come.
